Dr. Carmen Bisotti

Project Coordinator

Carmen Bisotti studied history and political science at the University of Hamburg and received her doctorate here. In January 2016 she took over the project management of Geschichtomat. She is the central contact for schools and cooperation partners, responsible for press and public relations as well as fundraising and she supervises the preparation and follow-up of the project weeks.

Dr. Anna Menny

Scientific Support

Anna Menny studied history in Hamburg and received her doctorate at LMU in Munich. She works as a research assistant at the Institute for the History of the German Jews and has accompanied the Geschichtomat project from the very beginning. Together with the project manager, she presents the project at events or in academic publications and publishes accompanying teaching materials.

Kathrin Maas

Cultural Education

Kathrin Maas is a historian. She studied in Hamburg and Dublin. During her studies she intensively dealt with German-Jewish history and wrote her master's thesis on the stumbling stone project. She works as an editorial assistant at Spiegel and is a freelance historian for various projects.

Henrik Schimkus

Cultural Education

Henrik Schimkus studied history, music, and cultural and media management in Hamburg. During his studies he attended numerous events of the Institute for the History of German Jews. Today he works primarily as a freelance musician, producer and theater maker.

Kristina Thoms

Media Educator

Kristina Thoms studied German and English language and literature and is a partner in the media agency Frische Medien GbR, which developed the Hamburg website of Stolpersteine, among other things. For many years she has also worked for jaf - Verein für medienpädagogische Praxis e.V., where she supervises workshops in the areas of film/video and computer/internet. She has accompanied Geschichtomat from the beginning.

Daniel Rossberg

Media Educator

Daniel Roßberg studied media design at the University of Applied Sciences in Münster and has worked as a freelance media designer and filmmaker in Hamburg since graduating in 2004. In addition to media education projects with jaf e.V. - Verein für medienpädagogische Praxis, he makes image videos and short feature films. At Geschichtomat, he is mainly responsible for camera and editing work.
