Dear friends and partners,

We hope you have had a good start to the second half of the school year. For us, 2024 began with a project week at Goethe School in Harburg. A 10th grade class researched the Jewish history of their neighborhood and dealt with the biographies of resistance fighters Dr. Katharina Leipelt and Hans Konrad Leipelt, among others. Geschichtomat was also represented with workshops at the Irena Sendler Day at the school of the same name in Wellingsbüttel.

Geschichtomat was also featured in the press. The NDR magazine Das! broadcast a report on the project week in Harburg on February 14. This can be viewed online. You can find the link further down in the newsletter.

And finally, an announcement on our own behalf: From the end of March until the end of the year, Anne Kunhardt will be heading the Geschichtomat project office as a maternity leave replacement. Please feel free to send her your inquiries, requests and ideas. We look forward to future project weeks and collaborations!
