As part of the Days of Exile, project days were held at the Altona Jewish Cemetery on February 19 and 20 in cooperation with the Foundation for the Preservation of Historical Monuments. School classes from the Struensee Gymnasium and the Waldorf School in Altona took part. The young people were given a guided tour of the cemetery and then set off on a journey of discovery on their own. Grave inscriptions, symbols and particularly striking gravestones were researched and the stories and backgrounds to them discovered. The students recorded their findings on posters.
