Geschichtomat wins 3rd place

The Geschichtomat project of the Institute for the History of the German Jews was awarded 3rd place in the Hamburger Stiftungspreis on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at City Hall. The prize is endowed with a total of 15,000 euros and represents an award for foundations based in Hamburg that show exemplary commitment to the interests of the common good in the cultural or social field.

On behalf of the Geschichtomat project, PD Dr. Andreas Brämer, Deputy Director of the IGdJ, and Dr. Carmen Bisotti, Geschichtomat Project Manager, accepted the third prize of 2,000 euros from Anna Gallina, Hamburg Senator for Justice and Equality.
