Jewish history at the Altonaer Museum

Should Hamburg get its own Jewish museum?

Jewish history at the Altonaer Museum

Description:

For our project, we visited the Altonaer Museum and viewed the exhibition "14 Milestones – Jewish History in Hamburg." There, we spoke with the exhibition’s curator, Anne Kuhnhardt, about more than 400 years of Jewish history, key events in Hamburg, and the significance of the exhibition. We also discussed the intriguing question of why Hamburg still does not have a Jewish museum of its own to this day.
