In our video, we will discuss Friedrich Adler, his time at the HFBK, and his fate after the Nazi takeover in 1933. Friedrich Adler was a Jewish designer who worked with ceramics, textiles, and silver. In 1942, he was deported to Auschwitz and was murdered there. In order to learn more about Adler, we interviewed Mrs. Kirsten, the director of the library HFBK.
