Imprisoned at Satellite Camp Eidelstedt
Class 8 students at Stadtteilschule Flottbek spent four project days exploring the topic of Stolpersteine. The students learnt about the Stolpersteine project and its founder, Gunter Demnig; they visited Stolpersteine already laid in their neighbourhood and researched the biographies of victims of the Nazis. The students documented their findings in a total of six short stop-motion videos.
A memorial stone on Randowstraße commemorates the former Eidelstedt satellite camp. There are also five Stolpersteine there for female inmates of the camp and their children. One group of students looked into the life and fate of Marianne Taus, who was deported to the satellite camp and died as a result of the conditions there.
