Lise Meitner, the person our school is named after, was an Austrian physicist. In this video, we take a look at her story in order to understand who she really was. Her discoveries in nuclear fission, which are still important to this day, make her a role model for many, and she definitely deserves more recognition. We talk about her achievements as a researcher and professor, as well as the struggles she faced as a Jewish woman in science.
