A guided tour through Eppendorf
We have dealt with the topic of Jewish residential foundations. Many residential foundations were founded in the 19th century, as there was a great housing shortage at the time. In total, there were 66 foundations in Hamburg, one third of which were founded by Jews.
This topic also includes Jewish welfare in general, which we will briefly explain to you. We have also made a small tour in Eppendorf and visited three former Jewish residential foundations, which are still used as homes today.
